For me, it has always come down to relationships.

The executive director holding everything together on a shoestring. The volunteer who shows up before anyone asks. The donor who gives because they genuinely believe things can be better. Thirteen years in, that's still what gets me to the table every morning.

I've done a lot of different things in this sector — led organizations, built fundraising programs from scratch, planned events, written grants, managed volunteers, worked with boards, and helped arts organizations use technology to connect people with their stories in ways that actually moved them. My background spans arts and culture, health and wellness, and community development, across organizations of every size and budget.

What became clear over time is that I do my best work when I'm not confined to one piece of the puzzle.

Sophos Consulting grew out of a simple realization: I wanted to show up as a full partner, bringing everything I know instead of the narrow slice a single job title allows.

I am based in Erie, PA and work with both local organizations and organizations across the country.
